Our Social Department offers a variety of programs and courses for all members of the community with particular emphasis on creating economic and social opportunities for women and young people and providing support for children:
Technical Skills Courses
We strive to offer courses that empower women the me by giving them the means to start and improve micro-enterprises, expand their skills sets, and gain self confidence. To do this, we offer technical and professional skills courses in fashion design, interior design, sewing, drawing, and silk painting.
Capacity Building
We reenforce the management and financial capacities of our clients and local entrepreneurs through financial education and planning. We believe that these tools are necessary to run successful businesses and enable them to make a positive contribution to the larger economic community.
Literacy
We offer continuing education courses to reduce illiteracy, principally targeting women from our neighborhood. This program is in partnership with the Minster of Social Affairs and the regional government of Ariana.
Psychosocial Support
We offer psychosocial support for children and families with a licensed psychologist and professional staff. We also offer special support and trainings for children and youth people who have learning disabilities to help them integrate into academic and professional settings.
Citizenship and Civil Participation
We give trainings to spread awareness and information about human rights in general and the rights of women and children in particular. We aim to encourage active participation in the community and foster a healthy and respectful social and political environment where everyone is free to fully participate.
